Prominent Hollywood actress Evan Rachel Wood has accused American musician Marilyn Manson AKA Brian Hugh Warner, of raping her during the filming of a music video.

Wood, who is a recipient of a Critics’ Choice Television Award, and also has Primetime Emmy Award nominations and Golden Globe Award nominations to her name said the musician abused her and raped her while filming his 2007 music video “Heart-Shaped Glasses”.

The actress was speaking in a new documentary of Pheonix Rising, which revealed how Manson abused her for years after she was involved with him during the period of 2006 and 2011.

As per reports, Wood was 18-years-old while Manson was around the age of 38.

As reported by the Independent, Wood revealed the details of the incident during the course of the filming of the video.

“It’s nothing like I thought it was going to be. We’re doing things that were not what was pitched to me. We had discussed a simulated s*x scene, but once the cameras were rolling, he started penetrating me for real. I had never agreed to that … It was complete chaos,” said Wood.

She also revealed how she didn't feel safe as no one looked out for her.

“I did not feel safe. No one was looking after me. It was a really traumatizing experience filming the video. I felt disgusting and that I had done something shameful, and I could tell that the crew was uncomfortable, and nobody knew what to do.” The actress also said that she did not consent for the act and was “coerced into a commercial s*x act under false pretenses”.

“That’s when the first crime was committed against me. I was essentially raped on-camera,” Wood added.

The actress also revealed how Manson forced her into describing the making of the video differently whenever she spoke in interviews.

“I was supposed to tell people we had this great, romantic time and none of that was the truth. But I was scared to do anything that would upset Brian in any way. The video was just the beginning of the violence that would keep escalating over the course of the relationship.” said Wood.

According to reports, Manson has denied raping Wood on the set of the music video.
