Colors TV's controversial reality show Bigg Boss 15, hosted by Salman Khan, finally came to an end last night with Tejasswi Prakash walking away with the winner's trophy and a cash prize of Rs 40 lakh. Besides winning BB 15, she was also announced as the lead star of Naagin 6. On the other hand, Pratik Sehajpal and Karan Kundrra were announced as the first and second runner-ups, respectively. Shamita Shetty, Nishant Bhat, and Rashami Desai were the other finalists who got eliminated during the finale. 

Various former Bigg Boss winners and season 15 contestants attended the finale and were eager to see who would win. However, there was complete silence in the studio when Salman announced that not Pratik but Tejasswi had won the trophy.

On social media too, Bigg Boss 15 fans and ex-contestants are divided over Tejasswi being the winner. While the TV actress' fans and well-wishers are happy with the final outcome, a major section of netizens aren't happy and are calling Pratik the 'real winner'.

A user wrote, "LoL! The silence in the studio at the announcement said it all. #TejasswiPrakash Worst winner of #BiggBoss15 and entire #biggboss history. Period. #ShamitaShetty you are a winner for all".

Another Twitter user said, "What an embarrassment it is for bheja that she won and no one cared! WORST WINNER FOR A REASON. Shamita and Pratik got more applause when they were out".

Taking a dig at Tejasswi winning Bigg Boss 15, Gauahar Khan, the winner of Bigg Boss 7, called Pratik the only deserving winner. She tweeted, "LoL! For the unversed, Bigg Boss 15 premiered in October last year amid huge buzz and expectations with various popular names including Jay Bhanushali, Vidhi Pandya, Akasa Singh among others as participants. From the very beginning, the show failed to get the expected TRPs and was among the lowest-rated seasons.
