<p>What is the worst thing about work? The long hours, the pay, the boss, or THE COMMUTE? If you work in a metropolitan city, chances are you've spent half your life in the traffic. If someone paid us to sit in traffic, we'd be millionaires by now. Wait, why is this not a thing – paying someone to get stuck in a traffic jam on your behalf?! </p> <p>German citizen Benjamin David was so fed up of sitting through traffic jams on his way to work and back that he decided to swim to office. </p> <p class="articleimg"><img id="ed-img" class="art-lazy imwidth-full" title="Man Swims To Work Every Day To Avoid Traffic" src="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/img-1-twitter-shanghaieye-1501420458.jpg" alt="Man Swims To Work Every Day To Avoid Traffic" data-original="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/img-1-twitter-shanghaieye-1501420458.jpg" />© Twitter/ Shanghai Eye</p> <p>Every day, Benjamin packs his formal suit, shoes, laptop and valuables into a waterproof bag and heads on to Isar River in Munich for a 1.2-mile swim to work. “The traffic on the road next to the Isar is so wild that it is no fun,” he told BBC.</p> <p class="articleimg"><img id="ed-img" class="art-lazy imwidth-full" title="Man Swims To Work Every Day To Avoid Traffic" src="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/img-2-twitter-shanghaieye-1501420512.jpg" alt="Man Swims To Work Every Day To Avoid Traffic" data-original="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/img-2-twitter-shanghaieye-1501420512.jpg" />© Twitter/ Shanghai Eye</p> <p>Wearing only swimming trunks or a wetsuit and rubber sandals, Benjamin swims to work every day and invites a lot of amused looks from bystanders. “People look down from the bridges and laugh or ask what I'm doing,” he says. But Benjamin is unfazed as he loves the relaxing morning swim. </p> <iframe title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="1" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/F81oG8gCTv0"></iframe> <p>We're sure he doesn't mind the laughs, considering he avoids traffic and gets a killer workout in the process. Don't be surprised if you see him sporting a sculpted bod in a few months from now!
