After a spectacular teaser that was first showcased as the second post-credit scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the first official trailer of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is here.
Not just the first trailer, there is also a TV spot that has been released and features some new footage.
Directed by Sam Raimi of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man trilogy fame, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong.

The visually appealing trailer promises the trippiest experience yet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Besides the usual Doctor Strange shenanigans, we finally get our first glimpse at X-Men’s Professor X played by Sir Patrick Stewart.

There is also a blurry figure that seems like Reed Richards aka Mr Fantastic.
This is not all, the trailer also shows different variants of Doctor Strange. The Sinister Supreme we already saw in the teaser, here we also get to see Defender Strange as well as Zombie or Demon Strange.

However, the biggest takeaway from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer is the presence of a mysterious figure that is seen fighting Scarlet Witch.

The figure is glowing up like Captain Marvel which means it could be Monica Rambeau who got her superpowers in WandaVision.
However, there are several fans who are convinced that it is our first look at an Iron Man variant called Superior Iron Man played by Tom Cruise.
Take a look at the trailer as well as the TV spot below:
Soon after the trailer was released, Tom Cruise started trending on Twitter.
One user shared a screenshot of the trailer featuring the mysterious figure and wrote, “I reckon this is Tom Cruise as a ‘Superior Iron Man’ variant and member of Professor X’s Illuminati that Doctor Strange is being taken to for trial. Notice those are iron man/ultron-esque robots”.
Another tweeted, “Wasn’t so sure but man I really do see a Tony Stark beard here now Tom Cruise Superior IRON MAN!? #DoctorStrange2”.
