After being dropped from the India’s Test team, wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha has made some shocking revelations.

From exposing BCCI President Sourav Ganguly’s false promise to revealing the brutal advice given by head coach Rahul Dravid, the 37-year-old keeper’s revelations have left cricket fans speechless.

However, the most disturbing revelation has been the texts he received from a ‘so-called respected journalist', who tried to force him to do an exclusive interview with him and after he ignored him, he reacted rudely and even threatened the veteran cricketer.

After all of my contributions to Indian cricket..this is what I face from a so called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone. pic.twitter.com/woVyq1sOZX

Sharing the screenshot of the conversation he had with this journalist, Saha tweeted: “After all of my contributions to Indian cricket..this is what I face from a so called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone.”

Taken aback by Saha’s shocking revelation, fans and cricket experts have reacted strongly and even demanded the cricketer to reveal the identity of this ‘respected’ person’ who misbehaved with one of the treasures of the country.

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has also expressed his shock at the journalist's misbehaviour. While he was shocked, he wasn’t surprised at all because according to him it was something that had been happening too frequently with Team India.

Shocking a player being threatened by a journo. Blatant position abuse. Something that's happening too frequently with #TeamIndia. Time for the BCCI PREZ to dive in. Find out who the person is in the interest of every cricketer. This is serious coming from ultimate team man WS https://t.co/gaRyfYVCrs

“Shocking a player being threatened by a journo. Blatant position abuse. Something that's happening too frequently with #TeamIndia,” Shastri wrote, quote-tweeting Saha’s tweet.

The former all-rounder, whose coaching tenure with Team India ended last year, urged the BCCI chief Ganguly to find out and expose the identity of this person, who thought he had the right to mess with a player like Saha, who is an ‘ultimate team man’.

“Time for the BCCI PREZ to dive in. Find out who the person is in the interest of every cricketer. This is serious coming from ultimate team man WS,” he concluded.

Saha’s mind-numbing revelations have come after he was axed from the red-ball squad. Till December 2020, he was India’s first-choice wicket-keeper. He played in the series opener ahead of Rishabh Pant but things changed after that Day-Night Test in Adelaide.

After being cleaned up for 36 runs in the second innings, Virat Kohli’s men suffered a humiliating defeat and as a result Saha was dropped on the bench. Pant grabbed the opportunity with both hands and emerged as India’s most-successful batter and guided them to a historic Test series win. Since then Saha has played only in Pant’s absence.

In terms of age, Saha was the senior-most player in the squad and the selectors have decided to look beyond him and they can’t be faulted for that.

However, a journalist threatening a player for not agreeing to give him an exclusive interview is pretty shocking. Being the head of Indian cricket, the whole country is looking up to Ganguly. He needs to act and expose the identity of the person.
