Back-up is a tricky situation when you’re going to confront someone, back-up for what you’re gonna wear on an important day and well, most importantly, back-up for a career when the current one doesn’t work out the way you wanted it to.

Something that is all figured out by Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson. The Twilight star who recently starred in the latest Batman movie, has already given a blockbuster opening weekend to the movie. 

With sound reviews where most people are calling his performance ‘on-point’ for the role of the ever-brooding Bruce Wayne, Pattinson has held up his end of the bargain, although few did find it to be no more than a 3-hour long drag for a nearly predictable plot. 

However, as the audience dishes out mixed reviews, there is still no contest as to how Pattinson didn’t let his fans down.

Although, he was quite prepared on the off-chance that he did, for he had an alternate plan of action ready and rolling. In an interview prior to the release of The Batman, Robert Pattinson mentioned how he would start doing ‘porn films’ in case Batman didn’t work out. 

And wouldn’t that be something?

He said while talking about the anticipation of a movie release, “I’m already remembering what it’s like to talk about a movie where there’s an expectation. Whenever you say anything, people are like, 'Argh! You idiot!' Like, dude, I haven’t even started yet!’"

He then mentioned how, “There is no harsher critic of myself than myself, so I don’t need to worry about anyone else." It was then when he asked what he’d do if the film tanked, that he said, “Porn.” After laughing over his answer, he continued saying, "But art-house porn."

Of course, now the actor doesn't need to venture into that space considering The Batman has no plans of tanking at the box office since its release. 

The movie also stars actors like Peter Sarsgaard, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano and Zoë Kravitz.
