'Will Only Happen If...' Here's What Prabhas Said On Possibility of 'Baahubali 3'


The historic success of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali series, featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia among others in pivotal roles, had put India on the global map. The period saga, which revolves around the fall of Bhalladeva at the hands of Baahubali, broke several box office records across the world and is still considered as the most-loved film of Rajamouli as well as Prabhas.Β

While the series concluded with Baahubali 2, fans have been waiting for updates related to the third part of the film. Prabhas, who is currently busy promoting his latest release Radhe Shyam, has finally reacted to the possibility of Baahubali 3. Expressing that the world of Baahubali can never end, the actor cleared that he has no idea about the third installment.

He also stated that if Baahubali 3 has to happen, it is definitely going to take time and everything is in SS Rajamouli's hands.

Talking about Baahubali 3 while promoting Radhe Shyam, Prabhas told Hindustan Times, "Baahubali is a film I will always hold very close to my heart. The kind of impact it has left in my career can never be matched. Whether Baahubali 3 will happen or not is something I don’t know. But I definitely can’t do immediately, but it has to happen, it will only if Rajamouli wants it"

However, Rajamouli is yet to react to the possibility of Baahubali 3.Β 

For now, both Prabhas and Rajamouli are busy with their upcoming projects. The actor’s latest release Radhe Shyam is getting a mixed response from fans,. The film is performing well in the South market. However, it is underperforming in the North belt.Β

Rajamouli, on the other hand, is waiting for the release of his much-hyped film RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. After getting delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the pan-Indian project is now slated to hit the theatres on March 25. It also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Shriya Saran in pivotal roles.
