Australia's star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell tied the knock with his long-time girlfriend Vini Raman in a Christian style wedding on Friday (March 18).
The couple took to Instagram to share a picture from their private ceremony and broke the news of their wedding with the fans captioning it as "Mr and Mrs Maxwell | 18.03.22."
The 33-year-old all-rounder had opted out of the historic tour of Pakistan because of his wedding and is set to miss the initial phase of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as the couple will tie the knot in a traditional Tamil wedding on March 27.View this post on Instagram

Soon after the couple posted the picture on social media, fans came in numbers to congratulate them and wished them well for their future.
Maxwell and Vini Raman have been dating for a few years and the Australian star got a teaser of what an Indian style wedding would be like on March 14 when he got engaged to the love of his life.
Vini Raman had posted a long caption while sharing pictures of their Indian-style engagement a couple of years back. "Last night we celebrated our Indian engagement and I gave @gmaxi_32 a little teaser of what the wedding will be like
Shout out to both of our incredible families & all our friends who came to celebrate with us on such short notice - we are so grateful to be surrounded by some pretty amazing people," she wrote.View this post on Instagram
The wedding ceremony had to be completed under strict security measures as Maxwell's wedding invite got leaked weeks before his marriage.
Reportedly the wedding was attended by 350 of their close friends with beefed up security. Maxwell was first seen with his now-wife Vini Raman during a Cricket Australia award ceremony.
