On the work front, Shahid will be seen as Raja Rawal Ratan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's dream project 'Padmavati'. It's one of the most awaited films of the year and also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Deepika will be seen playing the titular role while we will see Ranveer in a new shade as he plays the main antagonist Alauddin Khilji. Both Ranveer and Shahid have undergone immense training to get that well-toned body. The film is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
