Tesla Model X is the first SUV by Elon Musk's highly respected car company, but don't let the car's family-friendly size fool you β it is definitely a force to be reckoned with on the race track.Β
It is usually the Model S that makes the headlines with its 2.5 second sprint speed, but this time it's Model X's time to shine.

People behind the Youtube channel βDragTimes' decided to pit Tesla Model X P100D crossover SUV against a $530,000 Lamborghini Aventador. Any guesses on who won?Β
No, it's not the Lamborghini, as Tesla ended up beating it by .05 of a second, breaking a world record in the process, leaving Lamborghini to beg for mercy.Β

You would think that the Aventador would clearly have an advantage over an SUV that can carry seven passengers. But, a video showing the two cars going head-to-head in a quarter-mile drag race argues otherwise.Β
Tesla Model X stayed in the lead for the whole race, which is impressive in itself, but Model X P100D in Ludicrous Mode even set a new quarter miles drag record for an SUV of 11.4 seconds at 118 mph at the same time.

The YouTube channel also has a video of a Model S racing against an Aventador, where the Model S managed to achieve an impressive sprint time of 10.44 seconds at 124.1mph, even better than the Model X.Β
