World’s greatest bodybuilding championship, Mr Olympia, has come a long way. What Joe Weider created in 1965 to help bodybuilders earn some extra money now sits at the helm of bodybuilding competitions. Mr. Olympia grew as competitive platform, and so did the bodybuilders, in literal terms. Larry Scott, the first ever winner, in his best condition, stands nowhere close to the monstrous competitors that now grace the stage. Nothing’s a secret. The use of extreme anabolic androgenic steroids is common in the sport of bodybuilding. Anabolics made their way in on the bodybuilding scene in the early 70s and physiques started getting more massive than ever.

Bodybuilding is not a legitimate sport and probably, will never be. The extent of drug use is unimaginable. No discrediting the hard work the bodybuilders put in, they are few of the most disciplined people on the planet. But then again, the drug use makes the this sport questionable.
