Sanjay Manjrekar is a good cricket analyst; however, he does have a knack to ruffle some feathers with his out of line statements sometimes. Take, for example, this tweet by Manjrekar which didn’t go down well with the twitterverse.

While it’s true that there was no player from Mumbai in the team, many fans of the Indian team decided to let Manjrekar know that an Indian team’s competence must never be judged by the ethnicity of the players in the squad.

While Manjrekar might have just been pointing to the fact that the Indian team was playing without a player from Mumbai after a long time, referencing it with a huge crowd turnout was a wrong move on his part. Let’s just say he was still not trolled as heavily as during the Sania Mirza controversy, right?
