Of late, Varun Dhawan has been travelling the country in style. Simple reason: to promote his movie, 'Judwaa 2' and following a ritual he instilled during promotions of 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'—of stepping out in a volley of sartorially-rich outfits. Only connecting thread? He's always had celebrity stylist, Akshay Tyagi by his side. But that's just the starter-pack of what we're trying to say here. Recently at an event, Mr. Dhawan outdid himself by adding another feather in his cap—of being the emperor of picking the right pieces for his body type. An ability that added a lot of height to his frame and in turn, showed us lesser mortals, the right way of shunning our body insecurities (with style).

Let's break this outfit for you, piece by piece. For starters, the V-neck T-shirt was a splendid choice for him. It's creating an illusion of added length, a more slender frame, besides forming the basis for a very casual but well put-together outfit. Next up, the vertically pinstriped blazer. The linear pinstripes are elongating his top half and the diagonally-striped collar-up is adding to the aspect.

And that's not all. His bottoms are slim-fitted (read: not too skinny) and miles away from bundling up too much. And now...for the cherry on top—his YSL leather boots! That are narrow-toed, heeled and bringing the outfit to a close in a brilliant manner. While in most cases, a wrong choice in footwear usually shortens the body length, Mr. Dhawan here, is representing the life of a flyyy dresser.

But besides our holler on his sartorial abilities, let's give him a shout-out for convenience here. If you're even half as busy as Varun promoting his film, you'd know what's imperative to constant travel—comfortable dressing. While this V-neck and chinos combo is a travel uniform for the actor, he just had to change his footwear and hop on a blazer to look appropriately-dressed for his event. Clearly, the man knows his thing and is etching his million-dollar sartorial career in movie history.
