A war film that leaves a lasting impact is not a yearly occurrence, that’s for sure. The recent ones were good but in no way great or close to being a masterpiece. Thanks to the bar set by the likes of 'Saving Private Ryan', 'Black Hawk Down', 'Apocalypse Now' and 'Tthe Hurt Locker,' fans will not settle for anything less for a silver screen war-time spectacle. Next year, Christopher Nolan’s war epic, ‘Dunkirk’ will be released. We checked out the trailer and trust us, it’s already a classic.

The movie is based around the real-life miracle evacuation of Allied soldiers from the beaches and harbor of Dunkirk, France over ten bloody days of agony, during World War 2. With over 400,000 men stranded, the Dunkirk evacuation is one of the biggest and the bloodiest in the history of war. Tom Hardy and One Direction heartthrob, Harry Styles lead the star cast.
