The 'Red Dead Redemption 2' Trailer Looks Gritty And Awesome

It's been a while since we've heard from Rockstar and the new trailer for 'Red Dead Redemption 2' was released  last night. After watching it a few times, we could gather a few details about the plot which was not talked about in the previous trailer.

Rockstar does not want to reveal too much about the game and they sent us a very short description of the plot. “The story of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive.” the release said.

This is A Prequel

After looking at the trailer, we can only assume that the next instalment of the game will be set before the events of the original game. These hints confirmed what has been rumoured for the longest time and we finally got a confirmation from the second trailer. RDR2 will focus on the outlaw gang that is being led by Dutch van der Linde. The name might sound familiar to you as he was a character from the original game that led a band of outlaws and John Marston (the protagonist) was a member of the said gang. The original games take place when the gang was disbanded and RDR2 is probably going to explore more about the gang before the split of the gang. The second trailer for 'Red Dead Redemption 2' introduces us to Arthur Morgan, a member of Dutch's gang and further confirms that the story is set prior to the original game.

The game was delayed from late 2017 to spring 2018 earlier this year and you can now pre-order the game if you cannot hold your horses. The game looks gritty, irreverent and is probably going to be a fan favourite for those who play open-world games. We will have to wait another six months before the game is released by the highly coveted developer. Until then, you can watch the trailer below and let us know your thoughts.
