We wear seat belts in cars but we never think of them when travelling in a bus, especially long distances. In most Indian buses, there are anyway no seat belts for passengers. If you've ever been in a bus that's racing to escape a red signal at a crossing, you'd give anything to have seat belts installed in Indian buses. If you still don't think it's a good idea, we're sure you'd change your mind after watching this terrifying footage of a bus toppling over in China.

The incident happened in Zhuzhou, China, when a bus collided with a car speeding on the highway, causing the bus to topple over to one side. The CCTV footage of the inside of the bus shows the impact of the crash and how passengers were saved from injury only because they were wearing seat belts.

There were however a couple of passengers who were not wearing seat belts and not surprisingly, they were thrown out of their seats.

Seat belts have saved so many lives and yet some people choose to avoid them. Leave alone seat belts, we don't even wear consider it necessary to wear helmets when on two-wheelers. It's not uncommon to see people tripling and with no helmets. Recently, the picture of a cop pleading a repeat offender riding a two-wheeler with 5 people and no helmets went viral. The cop stood there with folded hands praying better sense to prevail.
