Shiny And Daring, SRK Just Wore Some Seriously Expensive Sneakers

Think of well-fitted gear and refinement in style, and SRK won't even come close to claim. But, yell 'prestige/classic brands, relaxed fits and safe bets', and no one would come close to King Khan's throne. The marquee message is, Shah Rukh Khan has walked the Style God route. He may not be wearing things first, the most spiffy apparel or turning to iconic style moments daily—but he's never been a lesser mortal either. His feet have graced emblematic labels like Golden Goose, and we're sure we can rest our cases here. On his 52nd birthday, at a cake-cutting ritual, the actor chose to channel an all-terrain outfit recently.

For starters, in a rare occasion, the mandarin collar caught our fancy here. Quite uncanny for the prolific actor's recent picks, but nothing surprising from a sartorial point of view. The print of the shirt too is nothing extraordinary but looks crisp, well-ironed and is a standing example of 'playing safe is rewarding too'. But what's more crucial to discuss here is the man's sneaker obsession that has now become even dope. Moving forward from his rustic Diesel high tops/Maison Margiela sneakers/Golden Goose moments, Mr. Khan opted for metallic silver sneakers this time. A pair we've noticed on him earlier as well, but has been styled way better this time around.

As we said, this is not the first metallic moment for the lad. Earlier this year, we spotted him in metallic-capped white footwear, shiny-skirted kicks and sometimes, even in shoes with faint metallic detailing. This one, however, is the most foolproof version of his metal rage. Clearly, as a pleasurable mix of classic fashion with a modern-age spin, we're tossing this outfit into our Hall Of Fame.
