Someone Deactivated Trump's Twitter Account & The Internet Hails Him As America's Newest Hero

Not all heroes wear capes, some even work in the customer support team of Twitter. At least, that's what the Internet is talking about ever since a Twitter employee deactivated President Donald Trump's account for 11 minutes. While the official account POTUS was still active, his personal account that is infamous for some of the nastiest remarks and comments faced the wrath of this guy whose identity is still under wraps.

Just like we all were moved by Shah Rukh Khan for making us realize the significance of 70 minutes in 'Chak De India'; people are thanking this guy for giving them unforgettable joy for 11 minutes, when all that people could see was this page instead of Trump's account.

Basically, whoever looked for Donald Trump on Twitter to get updates on any latest controversy he stirred up, was welcomed by a message that read “Sorry, that page doesn't exist!”

After this incident, Twitter admitted to the accidental deactivation and said that it was a 'human error by a Twitter employee'.

Earlier today @realdonaldtrump's account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

They further added in another tweet that this act was done by the employee on his last day at work. The tweet also added, “We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.”

Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee's last day. We are conducting a full internal review. https://t.co/mlarOgiaRF

Be it talking about a ban on transgender Americans serving in the military or taking a dig at 'Fake News' or when he went loggerheads with North Korea and the world thought that two BFFs were fighting over the same crush, Donald Trump has a record of sharing (with his 41 million followers) some of the most 'iconic' views on anything and everything that is of grave importance. He joined Twitter in 2009 and has since stirred controversy (we mean tweeted) approximately 36.3k times.

Although the account was restored after 11 minutes, Twitter had already found their 'accidental' hero in this employee by then. So all that was left for them was to cherish this short lived happiness and they did exactly that by flooding the Internet with their praises for his virtual bravery.

I'm not usually a person who covers the president's tweets. But. Um.

We'll all remember where we were during the 10 minutes of peace while Donald Trump's Twitter account was down.

However, on a serious note, this is not a cool thing to do at all. We are talking about deactivating the personal account of the President of one of the most powerful countries in the world and no matter how much people are enjoying this chaos, we can't forget that this is a breach of privacy and there is no justification for this.

This incident only goes on to show, how flawed the security system of Twitter is and how insecure our accounts are, although we are sure no employee will have that much time in their hands to fiddle with our profiles.
