When I first heard John Mayer, it was back in 2005, it was on Vh1. His song, ‘Your Body Is Wonderland’, was doing wonders. Every guy was either playing it for a girl he liked; or every girl was hoping a guy would sing it the way that Mayer did. Ever since, there was no looking back. The next song of John Mayer’s that I heard was ‘Clarity’ and he had me at the first line!

He came again to my rescue in 2009, with his song ‘Say’. I was going through some pretty trying stuff and was struggling between speaking honestly and hurting people. The song inspired me.

And again, just like that, there was no looking back. Over time, Mayer became the voice of my soul—he had a song for every emotion, or situation that I had ever been through. And the more people I would meet, the more of his music I shared with them. So, it’s only natural that I would create a playlist of some of my favorite songs by John Mayer that didn’t just resonate with me; but could also be your anthem for life, love and luck…
