A teary-eyed Ranbir Kapoor singing from a broken heart, the song touched a raw nerve with most of us. ‘Channa Mereya’, besides ruling the charts, has tempted many aspiring singers and musicians to come out with the covers. While some have given it impressive vocals,

But this particular tabla cover by Shobhit Banwait is one that has left us mesmerized with its sheer simplicity. 

Shobhit doesn’t meddle with the vocals or the music of the song; he simply adds the melodious beats of his tabla to it. And boy, it does wonders. So perfect it is, we wonder if the makers of the original would think this would have been even better!
