Last night, Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan made their much awaited appearance on ‘Koffee With Karan’ Season 5 and it was rather underwhelming. Both women who can usually be counted on when it comes to candid confessions and honest (read scandalous) comments brewed a surprisingly cold and tasteless Koffee. Arjun Kapoor’s forced presence only made it worse.

Kareena Kapoor Khan was well, like Karan Johar rightly put, a ‘Greater Kailash aunty’ (and not even a very good one at that) and Sonam Kapoor was trying way too hard to sound sensible. In what was otherwise a major snooze-fest, these were the only 5 moments worth watching. 

1. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra’s alleged rivalry is common knowledge since a long time now. But Kareena acknowledging this universal truth about Priyanka Chopra and her phenomenal success was beautifully honest.

2. Karan Johar tried to catch her off guard with this Shahid-Saif question (which was kinda inevitable, don’t you think?) but she played damn well.

3. And this time when she was mean to Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif for no damn reason but hilarious nonetheless.

4. Asked about Kareena Kapoor’s worst performance, Sonam Kapoor mentioned a certain film called ‘Bewafaa’ and brought to light how Kareena had played his father’s wife in the film and the scene got pretty awkward.
