Roger Federer unleashed his class in the Australian Open semis to reach the finals for the first time since 2010. Federer, who was on a six month break before the Australian Open, had slipped to number 17 in the world rankings. He defeated his Swiss compatriot, Stan Wawrinka, 7-5 6-3 1-6 4-6 6-3 and Twitter went berserk.
Here are some reactions to Federerβs amazing win in the Australian Open semis.
If I got a rupee from all the folks who told me RF " is done" last year, I would have been able to fly private to the final! #magician β???

β Wil Anderson (@Wil_Anderson) January 26, 2017Federer:"Months ago I went to visit Nadal in Mallorca, we both were injured. And we said it was difficult to play together a final again"

β Matthew Stringer (@matty1969m3) January 26, 2017Itβll be one hell of a game if Nadal makes it to the finals as well, but you know what, weβll still be rooting for the Swiss genius because nobody can match the class of King Roger.
