This Is The Smallest Phone In The World And It's As Big As Your Thumb

Smartphones are getting bigger by the day and offer more screen space than you could ever imagine. Most flagship devices now feature an edge-to-edge display and a decent sized battery to give a smartphone a full day's charge. However, there's now a phone that is smaller than my thumb and it doesn't feature any of the things mentioned above. The phone is called the Zanco Tinty T1 and it is the world's smallest phone.

When you first look at the phone, you might mistake it for a toy but rest assured, it is a fully functional mobile phone. It can do everything a traditional mobile phone can I.e. make calls, send texts and tell you the time. It has a full numeric keyboard and also features a tiny OLED display. The display has a resolution of 64x32, which is smaller than the resolution on my vape device!

Being a small phone, you can expect it to do basic tasks and it only operates on 2G networks. It isn't as powerful as a smartphone, so you will only be limited to making phone calls and reading texts. The phone uses nano sim cards and can store up to 300 contacts. It can store up to 50 recent calls and 50 recent SMS messages.

The thumb-sized phone is extremely cheap and could be a good alternative for people who like to disconnect from the Internet or need a device for emergency purposes. The phone has 3 days of standby time and has 180 minutes of talk time on a single charge. It's also a good backup on a night out and any occasion where you don't want to carry a bulky phone but still want the reassurance of staying connected. You can get yourself the Tiny T1 on Zanco's Kickstarter page and it currently cost INR 3,200.
