While Yuvi got the better of cancer to mark a glorious return to his side, Massa - who had fractured his skull after a crash at the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix - had a titanium plate put into his skull when he returned back to the circuit next year.

Similar to their journey, a budding all-rounder from Bhopal has scripted his own inspiring story as he overcame cancer to make a comeback to cricket.

Siddhant Bhatele fell ill following a practice session at the city's much-famed Ankur Cricket Academy. Despite frequent medication, his health showed no sign of improvement. And, tragedy struck when he was tested at a hospital only to be diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma Node Cancer.

Coming from a family of meagre means, it was a massive task for Siddhant to get adequate medical attention, let alone overcoming his illness. But, the budding cricketer and his family didn't lose hope.

In an act of selfless love for her grandson, Siddhant's grandmother went from door to door to procure the necessary funds from the administrators for his chemotherapy and other medical requirements.

After waging war with cancer for two years, Siddhant didn't just beat cancer but he is also back on the cricket field.

As he continues to work hard towards realising his dream of playing for India, Siddhant's journey - similar to Yuvraj and Massa's - is the one that truly inspires us all.
