Akshay Kumar Just Gave Us The Biggest & Fattest Beard Of 2018

Following the footsteps of the biggest grooming gods of the world, Akshay Kumar just joined the 'Big Fat' club. With a beard, that some might call odd, messy or highly unkempt; the biggest industry experts and women would proclaim as the 'manliest' thing about a man.Β

But here's the thing, considering the actor's grooming history, this looks like quite an uncanny decision to us. For starters, let's just admit it, Kumar absolutely enjoys the aspect of a clean shave, doesn't he?

But we're not denying that since his entry into movies, he's brought along a lot of beard phases for himself. Out of which, some were pure moustaches and some were multiple versions of a glorious stubble.

However, if his recent Instagram upload is any indication, Kumar is now headed for a big beard makeover. As a complete roundabout from medium-length mugs and small changes in his facial blanket, the actor has now taken baby steps in maintaining a epic, big, fat and glorious beard! From this in December 2017...

Akshay Kumar now looks like this in January 2018...

Feeling nothing but immense pride and gratitude while sharing this. Beginning my 2018 with #KESARI, my most ambitious film and a lot of passion. Need your best wishes as always ðð» @dharmamovies @iamazureent #AnuragSingh

Here's the thing: while this is a big grooming move in itself for the actor, this is also our first peek into Kumar's character for his next big release 'Kesari'. Produced by Akshay himself and Karan Johar (as part of Dharma Productions), the movie features Akshay as a saffron turban-clad man and is based on the Battle of Saragarhi. A battle that's considered as the one of the bravest battles ever fought in Indian history. As for it's release, we're hoping the film comes out sometime around Holi!
