After a sensational comeback in 2017, Roger Federer is set to embark on a new challenge as he gears up for the first Grand Slam of the year - the Australian Open. With Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic setting the bar very high early in the tournament, Federer, too, got off to a solid start to his Australian Open title defence by brushing Aljaz Bedene aside in straight sets, in his first game.

While many have labelled him as the man to beat at the ongoing Australian Open, Federer himself feels that a 36-year-old like him should never be the favourite at a major. That's the humility this legendary World No. 2 player brings to the table. But, apart from being humble and grounded, Federer also has a great sense of humour.

Ahead of his opening clash at Melbourne Park, Federer - who's arguably the world's greatest hero in tennis - shared a picture of himself alongside a few famous superhero characters. But, that was not all, the Swiss ace had social media buzzing after asking his fans to photoshop him as a superhero.
