LAHORE: After his stunning catch against rival team Quetta Gladiators, former captain Shahid Khan Afridi said that at his age he runs away from fielding but today he especially requested to be on fielding.

Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators in the second match of the third edition of the Pakistan Super League.

Shahid Afridi played a crucial role in the wining of his team by catching the ball at the boundary, hit by Umar Ameen.

At the end of the match, Afridi in an interview said that good fielding cannot be done without enjoying it and at his age, he tries to avoid fielding.

Afridi said that he wanted to field at the boundary himself and thought if there is a possibility of a boundary catch then he will do it.

He further said that in the T20 format, one always has to be ready for fielding.
