Rolls Royce just launched Phantom VIII in India, priced at a whopping Rs 9.5 crore. I would go further into the many awesome features of the car but the tears filling my eyes are blurring my vision. I'm sure Nirav Modi or Vijay Mallya wouldn't have to think twice before buying it, but I'm just an ordinary Indian citizen. As I type this while sipping on my cold chai from the office pantry, I can't help but think that if I had Rs 9.5 crore, I wouldn't spend it on a car, no matter how supercool it was! Here's what I'd do if I had 9.5 crore:

1. Buy a swanky house in Mumbai next to Disha Patani's flat.

Estimated cost – 3 crore?  

2. Buy a car that doesn't cost Rs 9.5 crore.

A brand new Mercedes for Rs 35 lakh? 

3. Go on a world tour for a year and backpack because that's how you impress the ladies.

Estimated cost – 10 lakh

4. Buy a beach house in Malibu where the world's most happening parties are held.

Estimated cost – I'm so middle classs I have no idea how much that'll cost.

5. Go to Las Vegas and burn Rs 5 lakh. You know where. 

6. Buy a lifetime stock of whiskey and a cellar to keep it.

Estimated cost – 2 crore (Party's at my place)

7. Invest Rs 2 crore in the bank so that I get a minimum of Rs 12 lakh every year.

8. Finally, quit my job because I'll be getting Rs 12 lakh every year in interest. Who needs to work! 

Now if only someone would give me 9.5 crore.
