Ever since we saw him in 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama', Kartik Aaryan became a face that every millennial could connect with. And after playing Sonu in his latest flick 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' he has become an overnight sensation. The story he brought to the screen was something every youth could connect with.

The movie was an amazing watch due to the mere fact that each one of us either has a Sonu, Titu or a person like Sweety in our lives. And his impeccable acting has been the talk of the town. Over the time, Kartik's fan following has considerably increased. And mind you, it's not just the females. The charmer has a huge male fanbase too!

Well, every actor has a crazy fan story that we often hear of and Kartik had one too that left him overwhelmed and a tiny bit scared as well. It all happened when he was at a joint in Bandra, and pretty soon fans began flocking him in an attempt to meet him. Like any celeb, he posed with his fans for pictures and quickly made an exit.  

What happened next forms the whole premise for the crazy stalker moment. “Some people started following Kartik on their bikes just to get a glimpse of him. Of course, he got a bit tensed about the whole thing and was also worried about the safety of others,” shared a source with MensXP.

In order to get things under control, he halted at a 5-star hotel in Juhu and stayed there for an hour. “Almost an hour later he reached his house and to his surprise, the doorbell rang suddenly and he found two of those guys waiting to take his autograph and click a selfie with him,” added the source.

This incident did freak Kartik out and leave him surprised at the same time. But somewhere he was worried about his fans following him on the busy road. Talking about this incident Kartik told us, “I was overwhelmed as well as worried. I can't thank my fans enough for the love that they are showering on me, but they have to think about their safety too. Nothing is more important to me than someone's life.”

But this isn't the first time something like this has happened to him. Just a few days ago he was mobbed in Dehradun. Well, that's the price you have to pay for fame Kartik. 

On the work front, Kartik just walked the ramp with Kareena Kapoor Khan for Manish Malhotra in Singapore. And now is gearing up for his next project as well.
