Chinese Smartphone Company ,Coolpad, launched the Note 5 Lite in India today and is going to be sold exclusively on Amazon starting March 21st. The phone is priced at Rs 8,199 and will be available in two colours i.e. Gold and Grey.

The Note 5 Lite packs a 5-inch HD display with a 2.5D curved glass on the front. The screen has a resolution of 1280X720 and has a finger print reader at the back of the phone. The fingerprint scanner can be used to unlock the phone, make phone calls, click pictures and open third-party applications. 

The device is powered by 3G of RAM and has 16 GB of internal storage, which can be further, expanded via a microSD card. The phone has a 13-megapixel primary camera with auto focus whereas the front facing camera has an 8 megapixel sensor, both equipped with LED flash light.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite has a metal body made up of aluminium magnesium alloy and weighs in at 148g. The smartphone has the MediaTek MTK6735 quad-core processor under the good with Mali-T720GPU. The budget phone will run Android Marshmallow out of the box with their proprietary Cool UI 8.0. 

The phone also has additional sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. The phone has a 2500 mAh battery and can deliver up to 200 hours of standby time.
