Anand Ahuja is a jet-setting, sneaker-loving, basketball playing hype beast who also happens to be the heir to the Shahi fortune. For those of you living under a rock, Shahi exports — where Anand serves as the Managing Director — has an annual turnover of INR 5000 crores in 2017. With that much money, you can literally own a sneaker mansion (LOL).

But without digressing and getting back to the story at hand, Anand just married India's most fashion-forward actress in a Sikh ceremony and caused a mini media sensation. It's not #Virushka — in terms of the madness and vitality — but it's definitely making us #everydayphenomenal (sorry!)

Time for the outfit now. For his reception ceremony, Anand's look was closer to home. More close to his personal style. More true to himself. Dressed in a black sherwani paired with white churidars, Mr. Ahuja looked like a fantastic beast. The outfit is just right and in a sea of guests trying to update the bride and the groom, this subtly stands out. What's cooler is the choice of footwear. The sneakerhead wore grey Nike trainers — an unusual choice for an Indian groom — to finish off his look.
