Honor announced two new budget smartphones for the Indian market today and both smartphones will be available in India from 29th May onwards. The Honor 7a and Honor 7c pricing starts from Rs 8.999 and Rs 9,999 respectively in India. The two smartphones were clearly launched in the very popular segment that is currently dominated by Xiaomi and their range of smartphones. 

The Honor 7A has a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 SoC even though many expected it to be powered by Huawei's proprietary chipset. The smartphone will come in a 3GB + 32GB configuration.

The Honor 7A also has a dual camera setup with one sensor being a 13-megapixel lens while the other is a 2-megapixel sensor. The smartphone is also outfitted with an 8-megapixel selfie camera, 3,000 mAh battery, face unlock capabilities and a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 out of the box with EMUI 8.0 on top. 

The Honor 7C is the larger brother of the 7A as it has a 5.99-inch HD+ 18:9 display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. The 7C also comes in two variants similar to the 7a with a configuration of 3GB+ 32GB, and 4GB+64GB. In terms of other features, the smartphone is identical to the &a with a dual camera setup (13-megapixel+2-megapixel), 8-megapixel selfie camera ace unlock capabilities and a fingerprint sensor. The Honor 7C also has a dual-sim slot for people who like to use multiple phone numbers.
