There May Be A Sequel To Dhoni's Biopic & Sushant Singh Rajput Is All Set For The Second Innings

Everyone loved the biopic on M.S Dhoni. It gave a rare insight into his entry into the world of cricket, his personal life and all the struggles he had to endure before becoming everyone's beloved 'Mahi'. Sushant Singh Rajput also did a wonderful job in playing the titular character and was, in fact, quite convincing.

If the recent reports are to be believed, then a sequel to the biopic is on the cards and Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen reprising the role of Mahi all over again! The sequel will apparently deal with Dhoni's life after the 2011 World Cup, which was an eventful moment in the history of Indian cricket and his personal life as well.

Also, India's journey to the semi-finals of the 2015 World Cup and Dhoni's stint at leading the Chennai Super Kings will also find its way in the narrative. It has been raining sports biopics in Bollywood lately and with movie like Diljit's 'Soorma', Ranveer's '83' and this sequel, seems like sports lovers are in for a visual aesthetic delight. An official confirmation for the same is being awaited and when that happens, we know Sushant Singh Rajput will be back on the field practicing the famous helicopter shot.

Sushant Singh Rajput is currently working on his next project 'Kedarnath' with Sara Ali Khan and that will be her debut movie.
