Turns Out Jaipur Police 'Killed' A Guy While Trying To Warn People About The 'Kiki Challenge'

I'm as sick of writing about the 'Kiki Challenge' as people are of reading about it, I'm assuming. But, looks like we still have a few more weeks left to erase the word 'kiki' from our brains forever and we can't do anything but wait. It's okay people, just hold on for some more time.

Jaipur Police 'Killed' A Guy To Warn People About The 'Kiki Challenge'

But, since the 'Kiki Challenge' or the 'In My Feelings Challenge' is the biggest internet trend right now, we can't really escape it. But, what we all can agree on is how unsafe it actually is. I mean, who would want to get down from a moving car to profess their love for 'Kiki' who doesn't even seem to care. She's not worth it.

With so many broken bones all over the world, even the police had to get involved to prevent people from killing themselves because of their own stupidity.

Mumbai Police shared a 'Kiki Challenge' fail to get people to 'dance their way to safety'.

Not just a risk for you but your act can put life of others at risk too. Desist from public nuisance or face the music ! #DanceYourWayToSafety #InMySafetyFeelingsChallenge pic.twitter.com/gY2txdcxWZ

Gujarat Police took a little serious way to get their point across and used an official looking PSA.

Please don't get involved or become part of kiki challenge as it is harmful to yourself. Inform and aware your wards and colleagues about not to perform or accept kiki solo steps.#KikiChallenge#GujaratPolice pic.twitter.com/wXxc11VkE4

UP Police used more fails for the full impact.

Dear Parents, whether Kiki loves your child or not, we are sure you do! So please stand by your kids in all the challenges in life except #kikichallenge . #KiKiHardlyAChallenge  #InMyFeelingsChallenge #UPPolice pic.twitter.com/RyTvoChJFa

But, Jaipur Police went a little too deep and posted this.

Don't challenge death. Be wise - keep away from silly stunts & advise your friends as well to stay safe.#InOurFeelings #KikiKills #InMyFeeling #KikiChallenge #JaipurPolice #SafeJaipur pic.twitter.com/9TdYo0CKQa

If that's not scary, then I don't know what is.

But, that's not the worst part; turns out the guy in the picture is very much alive! Imagine people thinking you're dead, especially when the official Twitter account of a police department is saying that.

The guy in the ad, Jawahar Subhash Chandra, a 30-year-old Kochi resident, is quite amused at being 'dead' on Twitter. While talking to The News Minute, he said, “I started receiving calls from random people asking me if I was okay and if my family is okay. If I leave my phone for an hour I get about 6-7 missed calls from people, sometimes old friends. Even my parents are getting calls asking if I am okay. The fact that people thought I died even helped me revive a few old friendships.”

Before anyone starts pointing any fingers at the police department, it's important to clarify that Chandra had modelled for stock photographs about a decade ago and his picture was purchased by Jaipur Police legally.

Well, this is one hell of a story for Jawahar now. “Remember that one time the entire country thought I died after doing the 'Kiki Challenge'?” – What an icebreaker!
