The flood situation in Kerala has gone out of hand and while the death toll continues to rise, the nation is buckling up to help in whatever way possible.  While our celebs are coming forward and urging people to help, the real heroes are the people who are actually out there and genuinely helping people in need. A video of an Indian Navy officer airlifting a drowning kid in Kerala has gone viral on social media and the amount of respect the officer is gaining for this heroic deed is unimaginably high.

The rescue effort was carried out by flight diver Amit and Pilot-in-Command Cdr Vijay Verma. While for them it was a part of their duty, for the nation it is a matter of sheer gratitude.
