Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore Sparring With Mary Kom Proves He's The Best Sports Minister Ever

Proving his mettle as an internationally acclaimed shooter, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has brought many laurels to his country. Plying his trade in Double Trap Shooting, he won 25 international medals at various championships including the coveted silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

If his exploits in competitive shooting established him as a popular marksman, Rathore's reign as India's Sports Minister has been cherished and hailed by sportspersons and fans alike. The 48-year-old continues to strive for the betterment of Indian sports and the athletes across the country. But, it's his latest actions that have once again won our hearts.

The Sports Minister recently visited the Indira Gandhi stadium in New Delhi where he helped India's acclaimed boxer Mary Kom train. In a thrilling practice session, Rathore was seen wearing punching mitts and helping Mary perfect some of her signature moves. While Rathore tried to catch the Indian boxer by surprise by swift movements, Mary looked up to task, landing perfect punches close to his face.

Seeing is believing. Thank you Hon'ble @Ra_THORe ji for all the supports and encouragement's. #PunchMeinHainDum @BFI_official @Media_SAI @IndiaSports pic.twitter.com/0lEty9NIEb
