Sushmita Sen turned a year younger earlier this month, but looks like the celebrations were due and the necessary stuff was taken care of in the most gratifying manner by her family and loved ones.

Sushmita posted the pictures of her belated birthday celebrations on her Instagram account just a few hours ago, where she can be seen sharing merry moments in the company of her mother and brother, besides also being accompanied by her daughters Renee and Alisah, as well as her boyfriend Rohman Shawl, who were all present with her in Dubai.

In the images that Sushmita shared on her Instagram handle, the actor claimed that the celebrations were perfect because she got to ring in her birthday sitting on her mother's lap.

The carousel images also comprise of more intimate moments she shared with her family who were beaming at the camera in each other's company. It is however one of her Instagram story images that has caught people's fancy. The image shows Sushmita's cake that's scribbled with a “Happy Sweet 16” message and a photograph of Sushmita and Rohman placed in the front.

It's good to know that Sushmita's family considers her not a day older than 16, and frankly we wouldn't want to change any of it either.

In another story she also shared a picture of Rohman and herself, and wrote “Life *heart emoticon*” on it.

By looking at the images it seems like the actor had a great time celebrating her 43rd birthday, surround by love and many smiles.
