Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Harvey Keitel are all legendary actors. But just imagine if we got to see all of them together in one movie? Well, we can very soon! We just have to wait till 2018 for ‘The Irishman’, which will surely be the ultimate gangster movie.

And, who better to bring this all to life than Martin Scorsese? The movie will be an adaptation of the novel ‘I Heard You Paint Houses’ which is about Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheeran, a mob hitman. Seems like it’s right up Scorsese’s alley!

Paramount rejected the project on grounds of it being too risky. A Paramount spokesman explained, "Scorsese’s movie is a risky deal, and Paramount is not in the position to take risks. This way, he can make the project he wants." Bad move, guys.

You shouldn’t have refused that offer, Paramount. 

But, Scorsese obviously wasn’t going to stop and now has reportedly kicked off negotiations with Netflix. The internet streaming service has apparently invested a whopping $105 million to make all of our gangster dreams come true.

Marking Scorsese’s return to the crime genre and boasting of a cast like that; this is probably the most anticipated movie of the decade!
