After splurging a combined amount of a whopping Rs 106.80 crore at the auctions, the eight franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are raring to begin their title chase as one of the world's biggest T20 extravaganza is slated to begin from 23rd March. While the cricket fans anxiously await the 12th edition of the IPL, the two of the league's biggest stars have given us a glimpse of what they're planning to offer this season.
David Warner , captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, has not been in action (on the international stage) owing to his suspension in the infamous ball-tampering case. On the other hand, Chris Gayle, a vital cog in Kings XI Punjab's batting line-up, too, has not played an international game since July, 2018. But, despite that, the two limited-overs specialists undoubtedly know how to put up a show.
Currently plying their trade in the ongoing edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Warner and Gayle are not enthralling cricket fans with their batting skills, but they are adding to the entertainment with their dance moves - a precursor to what we can expect from them in the upcoming season of the IPL .
During the clash between Sylhet Sixers and Rangpur Riders, the BPL 2019 clash was lit up by some crazy dance moves. The likes of Gayle and Warner alongside a host of Bangladeshi stars were seen shaking a leg during the match. While Gayle was seen slaying his classic bhangra, Warner, too, was seen pulling off some moves after smacking the Jamaican for a big six.
If that wasn't enough, the fact that Warner decided to turn into a right-hander before mercilessly smacking Gayle all-around the park, further left the spectators in awe of his batting prowess. Bangladeshi batsman Liton Das, too, joined the party and showed some moves of his own.
In the end, Warner (61) and Das (70) powered their side to a 27-run win. And, while Sylhet Sixers eventually emerged as winners, the likes of Warner, Gayle and Das all won over the fans with their crazy dance moves.
