Guess who's back, back again? Nah, it's not Slim Shady but one of Hollywood's most reputed, infamous directors- Quentin Tarantino and this time, he's bringing to us his 9th film titled 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood'.
The film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt in the lead roles already has its first poster out and according to popular notion, it looks like it has been photoshopped and has already received a fair share of flak and absolutely hilarious memes, for existing in the first place.
Even so, people are still looking forward to Tarantino's work and according to the writer and director the film, it “is a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood."
The poster does initiate a similar vibe but it looks rather bland, like someone's deliberately asked Pitt and DiCaprio to pose, whilst holding a gun to their heads!
Take a look:
The film is basically based on the Manson family murders in 1969, in Los Angeles. DiCaprio will play Rick Dalton, a former star of western TV series and Brad Pitt will play his stunt double, Cliff Booth.
“I've been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was 7 years old. I'm very excited to tell this story of an LA and a Hollywood that don't exist anymore. And I couldn't be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff,” said Tarantino in an interview
The poster has two of them leaning on either side, supporting a very nonchalant 60s look, and they will both play fictional characters in the film, while the rest of the cast is based on real-time characters. The film has a huge star-cast which primarily includes- Margot Robbie who plays Sharon Tate, Damian Lewis as Steve McQueen, Al Pacino as Dalton's agent Marvin Shwarz, Dakota Fanning as Carles Manson's follower Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, Timothy Olyphant and Kurt Russell, among the rest.

Twitter, however, smells a Photoshop rat and claims Bratt Pitt has been made to look digitally younger than his OG age of 55 years, probably in an intent to make him look the same age as Leo, who is 44.18 March 2019 18 March 2019

I'm gonna go on the opposite side and say the crappy poster for #OnceUponATimeInHollywood is intentional because the film takes place in the 60s/70s.
That, or the graphic designer really is trash LOL.

Well, some say the poster is tweaked in a certain way to make it look like it belongs to the 60s.
While minimalism and blandish designs are not what Tarantino's about, we're sure there will be an explanation for the posters soon. We also reckon the trailer will throw some light on what to expect from the movie. For now, let's wait for the final release, which is on the 26th of July, 2019 to see what's in store.
