The Final Episode Of 'Game Of Thrones' Is Officially The Lowest Rated & No One's Surprised

Everyone knows what a disappointment the final episode of the biggest and much-loved TV series was, but was it the worst episode ever? Apparently, yes.

The entire eighth season of 'Game of Thrones' has obviously received all the hate that it can get for ruining the entire series by just giving us the most unsatisfying ending while basically abandoning so many story arcs. Yes, a lot of things happening didn't make sense and totally out of character and the last episode turned out to be the worst offender.

The finale now has a low rating of 4.4 out of 10 and this is a show that always had almost perfect rating earlier for all the episodes. Yep, fans are mad, and rightly so.

Before this season, the lowest rated episode was 'Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken' which I feel was mainly because of the last scene where Ramsay Bolton rapes Sansa Stark on their wedding night while making Theon - or Reek - watch. Comparing this to the finale, the season five episode still had an 8.1 rating.

While it's disappointing how the show went from being the best to the worst so quickly, it's really not surprising since no one has held back from expressing what they really thought of the last ever episode of Game of Thrones.

Good point.

Now everyone hates game of thrones, I have to laugh. We make things become objects of adoration for years to then drag them down to the lowest level in a matter of seconds, why do you all forget so fast about the good things it brought to you???

But.

Game of Thrones actors don't get a say in whether or not the show ended well. They're on the inside. They're seeing friends working hard onscreen and will defend them. I respect their opinion on the viewer outrage, but this IS the lowest ranked finale, and there's reason for it..

Another kinda valid point, I guess.

i get that this last season has been underwhelming but y'all are CHILDISH for rating this last run of episodes so low. the previous lowest rated episode was an 8.1, for reference. come on now. #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/tfsOuqW3hF
