Now, while you rake your brains for an answer to that one, let us tell you that all the UPwallah students are in for some sorry days ahead, because the Yogi Adityanath government just announced a blanket ban on the use of mobile phones inside all the colleges and universities across Uttar Pradesh.

Hours ago, the Directorate of Higher Education in Uttar Pradesh issued a circular to make the announcement which states that no student or teacher will be allowed to carry or use mobile phones inside college and university premises.

The reason being cited, for this move, by the UP Directorate of Higher Education, is that the decision has been taken to ensure "better teaching environment for students across all colleges and universities in the state."

Apparently, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his ministers noticed a lot of teachers and students 'wasting time' on mobile phones, and thus, this move has been taken. 

If you remember, a few months ago Yogi Adityanath had also banned the use of phones during his official meetings, for similar reasons.

People, young and old are pissed at this new development and are voicing their reservations online.

Mobile phones were the only thing stopping yogi govt to provide better facilities in schools and colleges.
