Often labelled as one of the best batsmen in modern-day cricket, Virat Kohli clearly needs no introduction to the gentleman's game. His textbook strokes and ability to deliver consistent performances have not only aided Team India in dire situations but also saw him establishing himself as one of the greats at just the age of 31.
The Delhi lad looked in ominous form last year, hammering the opposition to all parts of the ground during India's dominant home season. Carrying his fine form this year, his batting masterclass was key to India's success against Australia during their 2-1 win in the three-match ODI series.
Even as India travelled to New Zealand for their next assignment, there seems to be no stopping to Kohli's artistry with the willow. His brilliant knock of 45 runs played a key role in India's six-wicket triumph in the first T20I at Eden Park. And, even as he missed out in the second match, Kohli continued his carnage in the third T20I.
