US President Donald Trump arrived in Ahmedabad today with his wife Melania Trump on his maiden visit to the country.
The government has left no stone unturned to make this event as massive as the landmark âHowdy, Modi!â event hosted by the Indian-American community in honour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Houston in September 2019.
In the wake of this massive event, a chef and food artist from Chennai prepared massive idlis as a welcome gesture for the US President and as a tribute to PM Modi.

Now, the beautiful idlis are a testimony to the fact that we believe in treating our guests like God.

The ANI report suggests that the three idlis weigh around a whopping 107 kilograms and it took the chef around thirty-six hours to prepare them, along with the help of six other workers.
Also, we could see the excitement in PM Modiâs tweet welcoming Trump.
India looks forward to welcoming @POTUS @realDonaldTrump.
It is an honour that he will be with us tomorrow, starting with the historic programme in Ahmedabad! https://t.co/fAVx9OUu1j
PM Modi and Trumpâs friendship got stronger last year during the formerâs US tour and since then both have been very supportive of each other in public and on social media as well.
Trumpâs maiden visit to the country is primarily focused on strengthening the ties between the two countries.
Earlier today, PM Modi received Trump at Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhai Patel International airport. Trump is also accompanied by daughter Ivanka, son-in-law Jared Kushner and top brass of his administration.

Apart from this, around Rs. 80-85 crore is expected to be spent and almost half the budget is going solely towards security arrangements for the US President.
Around 10,000 police personnel and 25 IPS officers, 65 ACPs, 200 police inspectors and 800 sub-inspectors have been deployed for Trumpâs security arrangements.
