After some slambang cricketing action, spanning over 20 group-matches and two semifinals, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup has found its finalists in India and Australia.
While the Indian team has enjoyed a marauding, four-match unbeaten run to reach the summit clash, the Australian side, following their defeat in the tournament opener, made a phenomenal comeback to win three group games on the trot.
In the semifinals, India enjoyed some luck as their points accrued in the group-stage saw them going through the final following the wash-out against England. For Australia, a five-run win (D/L) in the rain-hit 2nd semifinal against South Africa saw them securing their spot for the all-important clash on 8th March.
