TikTok User Who Licked Toilet Seat Tests Positive For COVID-19 & People Are Calling It 'Karma'

To leave a bad taste in (oneâs) mouth has been stretched a little too far in this case, quite literally! At a time when the world is dealing with a deadly virus outbreak, there are people who are licking toilet seats for fun sake. And the result? Well, a TikTok user, called GayShawnMendes aka Larz, based in California recently claimed that he is admitted in the hospital after he was tested positive for coronavirus as he was part of the 'Coronavirus challenge' that involved the licking of a toilet seat.

A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter pic.twitter.com/lfG2NBlTrs

This news of him being hospitalised came just a few days after he took part in that bizarre challenge putting his life and his loved onesâ lives at risk.

According to report in Daily Mail, Larz posted the news on an account that now seems to have been taken down.

As abhorrent as the name sounds, this 'Coronavirus challenge' involved people on TikTok licking random objects, including toilet seats, grocery store products and many more things. People on social media were angry and utterly disgusted with this act of sheer foolishness. Check out some of the reactions here:

I am unclear if this means he won or lost the challenge.

And these toilet stickers will get respirators before someone else's grandparents will. Remember that

NO SYMPATHY! I'm just pissed the MFer is taking up space when someone more deserving should be in the hospital

I canât think of anyone who deserves to get the coronavirus more

Eating Tide pods, licking toilets, seriously WTF is wrong w/Gen Z?! Is this what growing up indoors online no fresh air or playing outside does to kids?? Serious question

So the lesson that we take from this is to stay home, stay safe and NOT lick toilet seats or be a part of such mindless challenges!
