Nowadays every Bollywood song that you hear these days either have crappy lyrics or is a ruined remake of the original old songs. It feels like the music industry has given up on original content completely and almost all the songs that you like now are basically sub-standard, low version remixes that make you want to cry alone. Nonetheless, it also makes you want to listen to the original songs more and more.

Not only this, at times I just feel that the lyricists arenât creative anymore to write better ones and hence, they have no other option but to return to old songs and make something bad out of it.

Joining the bandwagon of many songs that now have bad remixes, the pigeon song âMasakaliâ from the film Delhi 6 is next in line. Now, some of us still like listening to this song occasionally and we donât really need anyone to ruin it! Is nothing sacrilegious here?

The song is 11 years old and still feels fresh and young when one listens to it. Also, how can we forget how cute Sonam Kapoor looked with the white pigeon on her shoulder while she danced freely to the song! Also, why make a remake when people already still listen to the song? Thodi creativity laao, Bhai! However, the 2.0 version will be starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria and has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and has been produced by Bhushan Kumar.

AR Rahman is known for the uniqueness and originality of his songs and Hollywood often takes inspiration from them. Why change that?

According to Indiatimes, earlier, AR Rahman agreed that he finds remakes of songs disastrous and annoying. He also said that the only remake that he liked of his song was âHumma Hummaâ.

However, we are sure most of us will still listen to the original song over the new one and we hope they donât disappoint the pigeons by completely ruining the song! We really want to report this crime.
