Chances are if youâre a follower of Ajey Nagar, better known as CarryMinati to a legion of over 12 million subscribers on YouTube, youâre familiar with his over-the-top, no-holds-barred roasts on everything from amateur Indian rappers to Bigg Boss.
This time, however, the YouTuber took the gloves off and delivered a straight 12-minute, fury-filled roasting - and itâs probably the best one weâve heard yet.
Amassing over 15 million views in just under a day, itâs no surprise that CarryMinatiâs roast rang far and wide through Indian social media.
The feud kicked off when TikTok celebrity Amir Siddiqui uploaded a video, in which he criticised Indiaâs YouTube community.
Amir has been uploading skits, callouts and other videos on his platform for over a year at this point with many of them amassing millions of views - although itâs safe to say that the video below will be his most famous one, even though it was taken down, eventually.
This clearly was a huge mistake - and with absolutely no shortage of cringe-worthy TikTok videos to make fun of, CarryMinati had plenty of ammunition ready and aimed back at the social media influencer, who tore Amir apart on everything from his poorly-worded criticism to the community of influencers he belongs to.
It gained so much traction that by Saturday morning, over 20 thousand Indians had tweeted in support of #BanTikTokInIndia - certainly, a cause that the YouTuber seems happy to champion.
Meanwhile, CarryMinati fans and TikTok detractors alike celebrated the videoâs success with a ton of memes. Literally hundreds of them.
