David Warner Steals Dwayne Johnson's Thunder By Morphing The Rock's Iconic Scenes

A fiery left-hander, with a knack for scoring at a brisk pace while batting at the top, David Warner is as good as they come in the world of cricket. Whether it's about hammering opposition bowlers all around the park with disdain or engaging in verbal volleys, Warner is surely not the one to back down from a fight.

While Warner, for long, has been associated as a serious and aggressive cricketer, the Coronavirus lockdown has given cricket fans a glimpse of the Australian's funny and jovial side. Staying indoors for months might have frustrated others, but Warner and his family have made the most of it by entertaining everyone through their hilarious videos on social media.

From dancing on Bollywood tracks, reciting iconic movie dialogues or paying tributes to south Indian actors, the Warners have truly been a blessing in disguise during this frustrating lockdown. With the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) around the corner, while others are busy focussing on the T20 tournament, Warner continues to tickle our funny bones with his hilarious social media posts.

Combining humour with a bit of editing skills this time around, Warner has, once again, returned to leave everyone in splits with his new video on Instagram. Taking on none other than Dwayne Johnson, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain morphed his face on the Rock's body in a series of iconic clips from his wrestling days, movies and even workout sessions. "Who has not wanted to be The Rock at some stage," he captioned the post.

While we all would love to know what Johnson has to say about the video, morphing his face on the bodies of other popular actors isn't new to Warner. Prior to stealing Johnson's thunder, Warner had also shared a video targeting the likes of Vin Diesel and Dominic Purcell by morphing his face on the bodies of their characters.

Apart from that, Warner even went on to morph his face on the body of Prabhas in one of the iconic scenes from his movie 'Baahubali'.

That's not all. The 33-year-old also morphed his face on the body of Sanjay Dutt's character in one of the songs from the Bollywood blockbuster 'PK'.

While it has all been fun and games till now, Warner will have to be as prolific as he's been on social media if Sunrisers Hyderabad intend to challenge Mumbai Indians (MI) for the coveted IPL title this season. Warner will be seen marshalling his troops against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their opening match on 21st September.
