Kartik Aaryan Wore A Neckpiece With 9 Layers Of Stones For Manish Malhotra's 'Ruhaaniyat' Film

Kartik Aaryan walked the virtual runway for Manish Malhotra's Ruhaaniyat collection for Lakmé Fashion Week, through a film.

For Manish Malhotra's virtual show, which was in collaboration with Mijwan Foundation, he presented his collection Ruhaaniyat, this season.

Kartik Aaryan who will next be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Dostana 2 has been mindful of the ongoing Unlock restrictions and has only stepped out when deemed necessary.

This is apparent through his new hair, which has now become a shoulder-length hairstyle that he flaunted yesterday as well.

Take a look at his outfit here:

Manish Malhotra and Lakmé Fashion Week partnered with Mijwan artisans through a fund-raising opening show presentation to support them.

The collection also happens to be a tribute to artisans and craftsmen and celebrates 10 years of the designer’s association with the Mijwan Foundation.

The collection sees works that have drawn inspiration from Punjab,  Awadh, and Kutch. With embellished fabrics that have the fine golden detailing of the zari work finely woven at the corners, the hand quilted textiles were seen in hues of teal, pistachio green, dusky pink, grey, maroon, black, and white.

Using Mashru, velvets, and muslin in menswear we saw traditional kurtas, khada dupattas, jama angarkhas, and heavy shawls. Adding to the charm, was the Manish Malhotra jewellery line.

Kartik Aaryan is seen wearing two studded neckpieces. Over-all, he is wearing 9 layers of studded chains. The handcrafted jewellery was crafted in gold with flat cut diamonds, Russian and Zambian emeralds, and pearls as can be seen on the actor.

Commenting on MM's Ruhaaniyat collection, Kartik Aaryan said, “This is the first thing I’m doing in the last seven months of lockdown, primarily because this collection has got a larger purpose and has a noble cause attached to it and through this, I want to show my full support for this initiative. It supports artisans, and I applaud the Mijwan Welfare Society, Lakmé Fashion Week, and Manish Malhotra World for this beautiful initiative.”

It is definitely one of the collections to look out for the upcoming weddings in the 'new normal'.
